For people on assignment
Your next assignment. A clearer way forward.
Starting a contract or considering a change? Talk through your circumstances with a person, understand the arrangement, and know what is expected before you begin.
Talk through your requirements
A service shaped around the work. The right start is a conversation.
An umbrella arrangement should be understood before it is chosen. We discuss the assignment, the parties involved and your working circumstances, then explain whether the service is suitable and what the proposed terms mean for you.
- Suitability discussed before setup
- Fees and responsibilities explained
- Human-led onboarding
- A planned first pay cycle
01Understand the arrangement
We explain the proposed contractual and payroll relationship, the information needed and the responsibilities of each party. Employment status depends on the facts of the working relationship; selecting a service is not a substitute for that assessment.
02Know what affects your pay
Ask about the assignment rate, service fees, employment costs where applicable and statutory deductions. Your written proposal should distinguish these clearly. Your sales contact explains the fees and assumptions directly.
03Prepare for your first payroll
Your sales contact coordinates the onboarding conversation and the next steps. Identity and payroll information are requested through an agreed appropriate channel, after the service and responsibilities have been explained.
04Moving from another provider
Keep your existing arrangement in place until a handover is agreed. We help plan the information, contacts and timing needed to make a considered switch.
Make the first conversation count.
Tell us your current arrangement, the next payroll date and what you would like to improve. We’ll agree the right next step together.

Good questions.
Clear answers.
Is umbrella payroll suitable for everyone?
No. Suitability depends on the assignment and actual working relationship. We review your circumstances before confirming whether an arrangement can be offered.
Can my recruitment agency be involved?
Yes. Agency and client contacts can be part of the discussion, with the assignment terms and each party’s responsibilities agreed before onboarding.
Should I send personal payroll documents now?
Please begin with general assignment details only. Do not send PPS numbers, bank details or identity documents through the public website enquiry.
