PAYDIRECT UMBRELLA LIMITED (Irish company number 827742), trading as PayDirect Umbrella, is responsible for the personal information described in this notice. Information you choose to send

If you email us, we receive your email address and the name, business details and message you provide. The enquiry assistant on the contact page prepares an email in your own email application; it does not submit the form contents to a website database. Please do not include employee payroll files, PPS numbers, identity documents or banking details in an initial enquiry.

Website connection information

Our hosting and network providers process connection information such as IP addresses, request times, requested pages and browser details to deliver the website and help protect it. This website is hosted on Plesk-managed infrastructure and uses Cloudflare for DNS, content delivery and security. Ordinary email correspondence is processed by our email service infrastructure.

Why we use information

We use enquiry information to respond to requests, discuss services and take steps requested before a potential contract. Depending on the circumstances, our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before a contract or our legitimate interests in handling business enquiries. Our legitimate interests also include operating and securing the website. We do not add you to a marketing mailing list merely because you enquire.

Sharing and international processing

Information may be handled by the hosting, email, security and professional service providers needed to operate the business and respond to you. Cloudflare operates an international network, so relevant technical data may be processed outside the EEA. Where required, providers must use appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses. Contact us for information relevant to your enquiry.

Retention and security

We keep information for as long as reasonably necessary for the enquiry, the resulting business relationship and applicable legal obligations. We review the need to retain information when the purpose has ended. Access should be limited to those who need it. No website or email channel can promise absolute security; we agree a suitable exchange method before requesting sensitive onboarding records.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you can request access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability or object to processing based on legitimate interests.
