Payroll, rewards & getting started.

Who is PayDirect Umbrella?

PayDirect Umbrella is the trading identity used on this website by PAYDIRECT UMBRELLA LIMITED, an Irish private company limited by shares, company number 827742. Our contact address is The Black Church, St. Mary’s Place, Dublin 7, D07 P4AX, Ireland.

Who can speak to PayDirect?

Employers, payroll companies, accountancy practices, recruitment agencies and people considering an umbrella arrangement are welcome to enquire. We review each requirement and confirm the service we can offer.

How does onboarding work?

Our sales team handles onboarding personally. We discuss your requirements, agree scope and fees, confirm any rewards terms, then plan the information handover and first payroll cycle. The website does not automatically open an account.

How do PayDirect Rewards points work?

Qualifying activity earns points according to the programme agreed with you. Before you join, sales confirms the earning basis, when points become available, their redemption value, any expiry and the options available to you.

Can I choose how to use my points?

Yes, within the redemption options and conditions available under your programme. The points owner and authorised decision-maker are confirmed during onboarding. Points are not a bank balance or a substitute for wages.

Are rewards guaranteed or tax free?

No universal reward rate, monetary return or tax exemption is promised. Eligibility, availability and tax treatment depend on the programme and circumstances. Ask your own tax adviser where appropriate.

Can we move from another payroll provider?

Yes, we can discuss a switch. We review your payroll calendar, the existing arrangement and the information needed, then agree a handover before you make a change.

What should I include in an enquiry?

Your name, business, approximate team size, pay frequency and what you want to discuss are enough to start. Please do not send PPS numbers, bank details, identity documents or employee payroll files in a general enquiry.
